Sugita Kenji is well-known in the handmade guitar world. His guitars, in terms of tone, design, and workmanship, each have the highest standards of handmade acoustic guitar. Sugita and aNueNue spent three years of R&D, selected air-dry wood, and humidity control facility. Three stage of design, brace design balance, neck profile balance and profile, and headstock sound reflex. The new design with 640mm shorter scale, produce sweet mid-high sound, and warm bass.  “Acoustic Future” is born.

LS - Acoustic Future Series is design by Luthier Sugita Kenji. Regular acoustic size using seasonal all solid tone wood. Sugita design the brace to accommodate the offset soundhole, and achieve a well balance and responsive sound. LS500 and LS600 use dovetail neck joint. LS700 and LS800 use Spanish neck joint, and design artistically with a Bird  Yoseki Zaiku Marquetry art.

  ▼ Headstock   

 

Sugita design 3 Dimensional carved Bevel headstock. A Straight string pull through the nut aid tuning stability. A trapezoid shape vintage bone nut distribute string tension.

 
 

 

 

 
 

 

 

Neck Volute a carved heel is added for strength and stability. The Japanese Gotoh 510 gear tuners with 1:21 gear ratio for precise tuning.

 
 

 

 
 

 

 

LS700 is design with Japanese Yoseki Zaku Marquetry. The truss rod cover utilize Muku, It is a technique that carves out a seed board with connected patterns to reshape it into a work. The shaping method of allows you to enjoy the pattern on the deeper face of the seed plate.

 
 

 

 
 

 

 

  ▼ Fretboard   

 

Ergonomic neck profile is design and allow easier grip, and neck access. Fretboard has MOP tapering size dots inlays, and design with 44mm nut width. The 21-frets design allows for endless tonal possibilities.

 

 

 

 

LS700 & LS800 more details about finger comfort and stability - The frets end is hand polish to waterdrop shape, make sliding down the fretboard comfortable. Inside the Mahogany neck, two carbon fiber rods is added to improve the stability of the vibration.

Sugita design the brace the accommodate the offset soundhole and bird acoustic body shape. The unique Sugita Kenji sound is achieved, and give bird guitar a new voice. A well balance and responsive sound.

 

 

 
   
 

 

 
 

 

 

On the soundhole design, LS500 and LS600 continue with original aNueNue Spalted maple design. LS700 and LS800 use Bird Yoseki Zaiku Marquetry art design. The design show a flying bird, and balance with the offset soundhole. The design added an elegant simple detail.

  ▼ Bridge / Saddle   

 

The Vintage buffalo bone for the nut which is very hard and articulate. This helps the strings to vibrate and to have a deep resonance. The compensated saddle designed to provide the accurate intonation and produce the correctly pitched note.
